This Privacy Policy explains how BaziPlanner (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the BaziPlanner mobile application (the “App”).

Information we collect

To generate your Bazi chart and daily guidance, the App uses the birth details you enter (date, time, and place of birth). Where possible, this data is stored locally on your device. To calculate your chart and calendar, birth date, time, coordinates and calculation parameters are sent to the AcuBazi API. Your profile name is not included in these calculation requests. Place searches are handled through our API using Google Places. We do not sell your personal data.

How we use it

Your birth details are used solely to calculate your astrological chart and personalized recommendations within the App.

Your daily progress

Your chosen intention, completed challenges and milestones are stored on your device, separately for each profile. Completing challenges does not send your progress to an analytics service.

Optional analytics

Usage analytics are off by default. You can enable or disable them in Settings. When enabled and configured, PostHog receives screens visited, language and technical event metadata. Screen recordings and automatic touch capture are disabled. Your name and birth details are not included in these events.

Third-party services

The App may rely on third-party providers (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, and analytics or crash-reporting services) that process limited technical data — for example device type and anonymous usage statistics — in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your data at any time by removing it in the App or uninstalling the App. To request deletion of any data we may hold, contact us atcontact@baziplanner.com.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
